Ecopoly – The Environmental Awareness
Objective:
To enhance awareness of environmental issues and their importance.
To teach players how to take action to contribute to environmental protection.
To encourage strategic thinking and investment decision-making.
Game Instructions:
The Ecopoly board consists of a variety of environmental locations and lands. At the start of the game, players roll the dice and move according to the number they get. Whenever a player lands on a property, they have the right to purchase it.
There are 22 locations on the board, divided into eight groups (each group contains two to three locations). When a player successfully purchases a full group of locations with the same color, they gain the right to build a solar energy system and a water desalination system, which significantly increases the value of the property.
If you land on a location owned by another player, you must pay rent.
Each street has a bike lane in the middle, which generates a unique income different from other locations.
There are also two special companies:
Clean Energy Company
Water Recycling Company
The board includes spaces called “Chance Box” and “Environmental Community Box”. When you land on one of these, you must draw a card containing various environmental challenges related to protecting the environment.
There is a Police Space on the board. If you land on it, you must go to the Environmental Court, where you will either lose three turns or pay a fine to get out—your choice.
There is a Rest Area under the Tree Shade at the end of the second street. Nothing happens when you land on it.
There are two tax spaces—if you land on them, you must pay the required amount.
Currency:
In addition to money, carbon credits are used as a means of trade and investment to improve the environment.
